Meet Dr. Carter
Dr. Beth Ann Carter was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana. She has been involved in the dental field since high school when she trained as a dental assistant. She attended Ball State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industry and Technology. She continued her education at IUPUI in preparation for dental school. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005. She then completed residency through IU with hospital training at Wishard and University Hospitals. She was then asked to join the Indiana University School of Dentistry faculty where she taught within the residency program at Wishard Hospital, and continues teaching on the clinical floor at Cottage Corner Dental Clinic with the 4th year dental students.
In 2008 Dr. Carter began Family Dental Care of Indiana at which time she treated adults with special needs at Clarian North Hospital Operating Room. In 2009 she returned home to Columbus opening the current location for Family Dental Care of Indiana where she practices dentistry for all ages. Dr. Carter is an active member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, South Central Dental Society, and Columbus Regional Dental Society. She attends study clubs and continuing education courses in order to continue treating her patients with quality dental care. Dr. Carter strives to provide her patient’s with quality dental care in a family friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Carter is married to Brion and they have three children. Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with her family and friends; she likes playing and watching sports, being outdoors, and church activities.
